– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Making Italian Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes is simple and fun! Just follow these easy steps:
1. Cook the Meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef (or turkey) until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
2. Add Vegetables: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Mix in Sauce: Pour in the marinara sauce and add Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Prepare Garlic Bread: While the meat mixture simmers, slice the garlic bread rolls in half lengthwise. Optional: Toast them in the oven for a couple of minutes until golden.
5. Assemble: On the bottom half of each garlic bread roll, spoon some of the meat mixture generously.
6. Add Cheese: Top each filled roll with shredded mozzarella cheese.
7. Melt Cheese: Place the assembled sloppy joes under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with the top halves of the rolls alongside.
